Emanuel’s love for travel began early with trips to visit his grandparents in France, where he quickly took advantage of every opportunity to explore Europe. Those experiences sparked a curiosity that only grew stronger over the years.

During college, Emanuel studied abroad in Hong Kong, which became a hub for trips across Southeast Asia.

What is your favorite country or travel experience?
Italy will always hold the top spot for me. It’s endlessly versatile—the people are warm, the food is unforgettable, and the history and natural beauty are second to none. I’ve been five times, and every trip feels unique. Croatia is a close second, with the same charm and Mediterranean vibe, but with beautiful national parks that feel like hidden treasures in the heart of Europe.

Do you have a favorite travel hack that you’ve done?
In 2019, I found a mistake fare—$600 roundtrip in business class from Los Angeles to Vietnam. To my surprise, the airline honored it and I was able to revisit Hong Kong and explore different parts of Vietnam I hadn’t been to.
